Teny Aghamalian is a Sydney based photographer who has been working in the industry for over 15 years. She completed her studies at The University of Sydney and graduated with a BA, Honours in Visual Arts, majoring in photography. She is an exhibiting artist as well as a commercial photographer specialising in food, portraiture and travel.
Combining her two passions of food and photography she has worked extensively in both editorial and advertising arenas producing classical and elegant images. Her list of clients include Vogue Entertaining & Traveller, Gourmet Traveller, BBC Good Food, Savoir Fair (NY), Brandmarque, Sunbeam, Thomas Dux and many more.
Apart from working in the industry as a photographer, Teny is also an exhibiting artist. She has held several exhibitions including group shows such as "Women in Parliament", State Parliament House of NSW, "Images of everyday Life" State Library of NSW images of which are now held in the Library's permanent collection, and the most recent due to open on 17th March 2010 "Portraits: Images of Everyday Life in Yerevan" a collection of portraits from a recent trip to Yerevan, Armenian.
